Oprah plans to bring Living Single to life with four New York City friends exploring friendship, career and love in the new original docu-series Crazy.Sexy.Life. Viewers will be treated to a sneak peek on Tuesday, September 3rd at 10p.m., with plans for the official premiere at the beginning of 2014.
The new reality show stars celebrity hairstylist Kiyah Wright, life coach Bershan Shaw, actress Chenoa Maxwell and philanthropist Tiffany Jones. The show centers on the friends of more than a decade, who are at critical times in their lives. As Kiyah craves children while counting down the days to her 40th birthday, Chenoa is considering what’s next for her marriage and career, following $150,000 in fertility treatments.
“We feel strongly that Crazy.Sexy.Life. will resonate with our viewers,” said Sheri Salata, president, OWN. “Set against the backdrop of America’s most vibrant and competitive city, this show details what real life is all about for a quartet of very different personalities.”
It seems the Tyler Perry’s OWN deal was the beginning of a new leaf for Oprah Winfrey’s booming network. The new series will air following the finale of Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots, which stars Tika Sumpter.
