The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Oprah Winfrey has been in talks with execs at the Motion Picture Academy to host the Oscars in February.
The Academy is hoping Oprah will help broaden the show’s appeal, since millions of her fans will tune in after missing their daily, hour-long chats with her.
No word yet whether Oprah has accepted the offer, but it does sound like a winning combo.
