Oprah Ends Vacation Early for OWN Network

It’s all work and no play these days for Oprah. The television titan recently cut her vacation short to continue working on the Oprah Winfrey Network — and can you blame her?

The woman has quite the checklist ahead: rev up network ratings, launch new summer shows, interview O.J. Simpson, and get him to admit the truth. 

“The vacation that I thought that I was going to have is over. I need to be there. I need to be engaged and involved,” she said at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association convention in Chicago. “I have committed everything I have to this cable venture. I wouldn’t bet against me.”

We wouldn’t either, Oprah — we’re behind you 100 percent. Keep up the good work!
