Oprah has had a stellar 2011 — if you didn’t know. The media diva launched her network, celebrated major success with her academy, received a humanitarian award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and more. But despite all of that, Oprah says she misses you.
That’s right! Oprah holds you in the highest regard. While visiting the Dr. Oz show, she said, “I don’t miss doing the show every day… I miss the audience, I miss the people,” reports Radar Online.
Oprah says although she misses interacting with us, she wouldn’t give up running her own network. “You have to be committed because, you know, I signed a deal. I’m going to do it. Let me tell you: running a network is challenging… can y’all please find it on your channels?”
There’s no doubt in our minds that 2012 will bring huge ratings for OWN. The network is already beefing up its programing by ordering new episodes of “Welcome to Sweetie Pies” and “Our America.” On top of that, she’s set to start a brand new show in January, focusing on one-on-one interviews.
Are you keeping up with OWN?
