Oprah is putting her money where her mouth is.
The billionaire mogul who is also a disciple of Weight Watchers just bought a 10 percent share into the weight-loss company (and she’s hoping to acquire an additional 5 percent stake), reports USA TODAY.

“Weight Watchers has given me the tools to begin to make the lasting shift that I and so many of us who are struggling with weight have longed for,” Winfrey said in a statement. “I believe in the program so much I decided to invest in the company and partner in its evolution.”
Winfrey will offer her business expertise as both a member on the board and as an adviser to the brand.
Oh, and unsurprisingly, following Winfrey’s announcement earlier this morning, stocks for Weight Watchers soared.
