With just over three days remaining on the clock, the countdown to the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards is nearing an end. But before each of the winning envelopes are torn open and all of the Moet is poured and sipped, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at the menu for Hollywood’s first “official” bash.

The Beverly Hilton Hotel has been home to the Globes for 41 years and last week, the hotel’s Executive Chef, Suki Sugiura, opened his kitchen to present the menu he created for the ceremony’s 1,300 invited guests. The thought of serving such a party might seem like a huge undertaking, but Sugiura is up for the challenge. After all, this marks the fifth year that he’ll oversee the menu…and what a menu it is.

The appetizer consists of an arugula, radish salad with vine-ripened tomatoes, topped with herb-crusted, California mozzarella and grilled eggplant. Then for the entre, he’ll offer Mediterranean herb-braised, beef short ribs with artichoke, sweet-pepper ragout and sauted Pacific sea bass with truffle endive fritto. Yum-my.

If that’s not enough to make you want to grab a knife and fork, take a look at the dessert plate (pictured above). Though she’s been on-staff at the hotel for a mere three months, Executive Pastry Chef, Frania Mendivil, was thrilled to present her first dessert for the Golden Globes. Along with the chocolate dome, sponge cake (which boasts a mandarin-orange center, chocolate glaze and gold “leaves”), the dessert plate is garnished with fresh raspberries–“For color!” she noted, with a smile–and includes a white-chocolate “envelope” with a chocolate insert that reads, “The Golden Globe Award Goes To…” How clever is that?

In addition to hosting the awards ceremony in its renowned International Ballroom, the Beverly Hilton Hotel will service six viewing- and after-parties throughout its nine-acre property. It should be quite a celebration!

The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live, nationwide, on Sunday, January 17 at 8pm ET/5pm PT, on NBC.
