With all the excitement of planning her upcoming wedding in June, Nicole Murphy is resting easy knowing that her hubby-to-be, retired football star Michael Strahan, and ex husband, Eddie Murphy are “cool.” “They’ll give each other a hug when they see each other,” she told PEOPLE.
Nicole is planning a simple ceremony unlike what she describes as her “extravaganza” wedding to Eddie nearly sixteen years ago.
“I want to do something really simple,” she says. “I want the dress to be flowy and elegant, and I’d love all the guests to wear cream, and no shoes on the beach.”
Nicole’s five children with Eddie–Bria, 20, Myles, 17, Shayne, 15, Zola, 9, and Bella, 7–and Strahan’s four children will be incorporated into the ceremony.
