Nicole Ari Parker Set to Make Broadway Debut

Nicole Ari Parker is the latest Black celeb to head to the Great White Way. The actress is set to star as Blanche DuBois in “A Streetcar Named Desire,” the legendary play by Tennessee Williams.

Chocolate hottie Blair Underwood plays Blanche’s ruthless brother-in-law Stanley.

This will be Nicole’s first foray into Broadway theater. Her most widely acclaimed role was as Teri Joseph in Showtime’s original series “Soul Food.”

The play makes its Broadway debut Spring 2012.
