As 2011 continues to wind down, Billboard has announced which stars made its coveted list for the “Best Songs of 2011.”

After the votes were tallied, eclectic rapper Nicki Minaj landed at number #1 with her uptempo single, “Super Bass.”

Judges called Nicki’s single, “The song that (rightfully) made Nicki a star,” and also dubbed it “Pop’s perfect storm” reports Billboard.com

Our girl Kelly Rowland also walked away with a top ranking, joining the list at #5 with her hit single, “Motivation.”

Other front-runners on the list include Kanye West’s “N***gas in Paris,” which nabbed the #4 spot, Chris Brown, whose “Look at Me Now” came in at #9, and Beyonce’s “Countdown” which landed at #12. Rihanna closed out the list in the #20 spot with her single “We Found Love.”
