Looks like there’s an addition coming to Crystal Smith’s platinum life.
Music maker, Ne-Yo and The Platinum Life star are expecting their second child together. “We are so excited,” Smith told E! News. “This definitely wasn’t in the plan and we weren’t trying at all!”
As reported by the publication, Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, and Crystal welcomed their first child together, son Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., back in May 2016, just one month after they got married in Los Angeles. The duo are also parents to son Mason Evan and daughter Madilyn Grace from Ne-Yo’s previous relationship.
“Actually I haven’t really been sick at all but the cravings are real!” Smith said about morning sickness. “All I want are raw oysters and steak! Which since becoming vegan has totally messed up my diet but as long as our miracle gets the nutrition it needs I will eat all the meat in the world!”
Monyetta Shaw, the mother of Ne-Yo’s two oldest children also shared her excitement for the couple on Instagram. “So glad that I don’t have to hold this secret from my M’s anymore,” she said. “They’re excited about their new sibling!!!”
Smith is currently on E! Channel’s The Platinum Life, a reality show about seven ladies who are the significant others of famous men. Smith with NE-YO, Asiah Collins with Kid Ink, La’Myia Good with Eric Bellinger, Shantel Jackson with Nelly, Nazanin Mandi with Miguel, Lola Monroe with King Los and Alycia Bella the ex-girlfriend of Ty Dollar $ign all share their worlds on-screen.
When asked about how she spends her time as a budding chef Smith told ESSENCE, “My day-to-day focus is taking care of my family and creating new dishes for them to enhance my culinary career.”
