In celebration of International Women’s Day, Naomi Campell joined the UN Women for Peace’s March In March To End Violence Against Women campaign on Friday.

The supermodel joined other powerful female figures at the United Nations Building in New York City and marched through Manhattan to shed light on efforts towards rights and equality for women.

Campbell delivered a speech at the event and was even moved to tears by the unity shown and the inspiring words shared throughout the day.

She received praise for her emotional address and later tweeted her gratitude saying, “thank you was an honor to be #unwomenforpeace.”
