Tatyana Ali surprised the world with her new EP, Hello, last month. Now she’s taking her show on the road. Last night, she appeared on Arsenio for a TV debut performance of the retro-tinged single “Wait For It.”
Ali was 17 when she put out her first single, “Daydreaming.” Now 35, the actress-turned-singer says she feels like this EP is a way of re-introducing herself as a singer. “For the first time I feel like I’m really able to really be myself,” she told Arsenio. “I’m also saying ‘hello’ to myself.”
