Octavia Spencer stars in the Fox series Red Band Society, debuting this fall.
The provocative and inspiring show tells the story of teenagers in a pediatirc ward who become unlikely friends. The Hollywood Reporter describes Spencer’s character, Nurse Jackson, as “an authoritative, intuitive woman who doesn’t put up with crap” from the teenagers living at the hospital she works in.
Red Band Society is set to air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST starting this fall.
