This week First Lady Michelle Obama held a soccer clinic for kids on the White House’s South Lawn. Mrs. The camp garnered so much attention it actually earned praise from ESPN and a spot on the popular weekly highlights reel on “SportsCenter.”
This clip was featured as a “Top Play” in Thursday’s montage. You’ll see the First Lady working with kids, kicking balls, exercising, and having an all-around good time.
The First Lady hosted the U.S. women’s national soccer team at the clinic for members of Philadelphia’s Soccer Sisters United and Woodbridge, Virginia’s Prince William Courage Soccer Clubs.
“We are proud of their accomplishments this summer,” the First Lady said of the World Cup Finalists. “They’ve made us incredibly proud.”
