Four days after Muhammad Ali was hospitalized for a mild case of pneumonia, his daughter has released a statement to TMZ Sports saying that the boxing legend is doing much better.

“My daddy is a strong man,” his daughter, Rasheda Ali-Walsh said. “He’s so resilient, and we’re all very grateful and blessed.”

According to a family spokesperson, the 72-year-old was admitted to a Kentucky hospital last Saturday for a mild case of pneumonia.

However, it looks like he’s on his way to a full recovery.

“When I see my dad, I’m going to tell him about all the people who have sent their love,” Ali-Walsh said. “I know it’s going to make him feel great to know all these people are thinking about him. He’ll love it.”
