Morgan Freeman’s next project will involve a journey to Mars and extraterrestrial life, but this is no movie. The Science Channel has partnered with the Oscar-winning actor for a new series titled “Through the Wormhole.” Freeman will lend his voice to narrate the program, which will air early next year. The star has expressed his passion for space in past interviews and has even tried to create a Web site about it, which didn’t generate much success. —PS
