While some were scurrying to file their taxes, Morehouse College students were speaking with Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke about a topic that is at the forefront of our minds: the global economic issue. This week senior economics students of the all-male HBCU were presented with the opportunity to ask Bernanke questions about the state of the economy. Students got personal and posed questions pertaining to race as a noticeable factor in wealth inequality. Bernanke shared with them the need for minorities to attain greater financial literacy. -PSS
