Despite rumors that the “Until It’s Gone” singer was concealing a baby bump, Monica revealed that she and hubby Shannon Brown are content with their family of five for now.

When asked if she and Shannon would be having children together later she replied, “Absolutely. I’m young, he’s young and we want to have that between the two of us. Right now we are enjoying the three that we have blended together.”

The singer stepped out this week– sans the rumored baby bump– at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul 3rd Annual “Women Behind the Music” event where she was honored for her longstanding achievements in music.
Now that we know Monica isn’t carrying a bundle of joy, we can focus our excitement on her upcoming album, “New Life” due out February 21st.
