Soledad O’Brien reports on colorism within the African-American communty on the latest installment of CNN’s Black in America series.

In “Who Is Black in America,” O’Brien talks to Americans of different backgrounds — Black, White and Biracial — to find out what or who determines where you fall in the race spectrum. “Can you decide if you are Black?” she asks. “Why do you think discussions of colorism in the Black community are often quiet?”

To find out if race is a choice for some Americans, be sure to tune in to “Who Is Black in America” on Sunday, Decemeber 9 at 8 p.m. EST. Until then, watch this sneak peek of the documentary and let us know your thoughts.
