We’ll hazard a guess that, by the end of the upcoming New York Fashion Week, 16-year-old Shena Moulton will be a superstar. After working just under two season, the Jamaican-born supermodel-in-training has already made quite a name for herself! She was the third black model in recent history to walk Calvin Klein’s runway (after Jourdan Dunn and Lyndsey Scott), and she’s already shot some some attention-getting fashion editorials (Russian Vogue is a recent standout). Despite the heady rush of fame, Moulton has somehow managed to stay grounded. “[For my 16th birthday] I got a Blackberry and my ears pierced,” she recently gushed to WWD. So refreshing—we couldn’t love this leggy stunner more! Here, check out our favorite moments from this up-and-coming catwalk queen.
Moulton worked Isaac Mizrahi’s Fall 2010 in pearly eyeshadow, a neutral lip and floral cigarette pants.
At Kenzo’s Spring 2010 show, Shena kept it cool in white, pattern shades and a floral print shift.
Marc Jacobs sent Moulton down his Fall 2010 runway in a plaid jacket, slicked-back strands and a glossy pucker.
Shena Moulton is one of only three Black models to walk Calvin Klein’s catwalk in recent history. We want to be excited, but this kind of makes us sad. Time to diversify, Calvin!
On Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2010 runway, Moulton worked a sporty moment in a gray sweatshirt dress, smokey eyes and slicked-to-the-side strands.
Moulton slinked down Herve Leger’s Fall 2010 runway in a bod-con bandage dress. So sexy!
