UPDATE: Mike Tyson has issued a statement regarding the tragic accident involving his four-year old daughter Exodus.

“The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time.”

It is being reported that Exodus is currently on life support after accidentially hanging herself with a cable found in a treadmill in the family’s home. The child’s mother was cleaning the house and the toddler was playing in a playroom at the time of the accident, according to a statement from Phoenix police.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus Tyson was found hanging from the cable of a treadmill early Monday, May 26, in her family’s home in Phoenix, according to MyFoxNY.com. The child is on life support and in “extremely critical condition.” Her 7-year-old brother found her unconscious on the treadmill with the cable around her neck. Police and firefighters performed CPR and rushed her to St. Joe Hospital.

Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time and flew to Phoenix, where he currently lives, after hearing about his daughter’s accident.
