Former first lady Michelle Obama had some sage words of advice for 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg, after the teen, who was recently named Time’s Person of the Year, was mocked by the 73-year-old world leader…again.
“Don’t let anyone dim your light. Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all,” Obama. tweeted to Thunberg. “Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on.”
Everyone who knows the former first lady knows that she is a class act who excels in shining brightly despite it all and ignoring the doubters – showcased by the fact that she didn’t even mention 45’s name.
Trump, for his part, was apparently in his feelings when the teen was named Time’s Person of the Year, calling the move “so ridiculous” on Twitter.
“Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” he added.
This is not the first time that Trump has mocked the teen. Back in September, after Thunberg spoke at the United Nation’s special meeting on climate change, Trump came for the young teen when she did not send for him.
Nonetheless, Thunberg remains unfazed and as a matter of fact, just as she did before, updated her Twitter bio to reflect the President’s words.
