Michael Jordan and Longtime Girlfriend Get Engaged

Legendary basketball star Michael Jordan will have something extra special to celebrate this New Year’s. The former NBA baller popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto and the blissful pair are now engaged.

Their publicist Estee Portnoy broke the news to television station WCNC in Charlotte who reports that Jordan put a ring on it over the Christmas weekend. Jordan and Prieto have been dating for three years and have yet to reveal any plans regarding their upcoming nuptials.

This will be Jordan’s second wedding, following his 17-year marriage to his ex-wife Juanita Jordan.

Jordan is the second celeb to pop the question during the holiday season. Grammy winner John Legend also proposed to his girlfriend over the Christmas weekend.
