King of Pop: Michael Jackson's Children Today

As thousands of fans flock to Forest Green Cemetery today to pay their respects to Michael Jackson, we assume that many will continue on to the family's compound in Encino, California, to congregate in memoriam. Sad part is that they will be turned away. The LAPD has confirmed that there will 30 to 40 officers deployed to patrol the house and the surrounding streets throughout the weekend. Not only will those wanting to feel close to MJ be blocked from getting to the house where his mother and three children now live, fans will not be allowed to park anywhere near the house, or sell any type of Jackson merchandise on the surrounding grounds, similar to the rules enforced at Jackson's burial grounds...

As thousands of fans flock to Forest Green Cemetery today to pay their respects to Michael Jackson, we assume that many will continue on to the family’s compound in Encino, California, to congregate in memoriam. Sad part is that they will be turned away. The LAPD has confirmed that there will 30 to 40 officers deployed to patrol the house and the surrounding streets throughout the weekend. Not only will those wanting to feel close to MJ be blocked from getting to the house where his mother and three children now live, fans will not be allowed to park anywhere near the house, or sell any type of Jackson merchandise on the surrounding grounds, similar to the rules enforced at Jackson’s burial grounds. Luckily Jackson’s three children, Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, will not be subject to the mayhem that may ensue around the residence, as they are headed to their late father’s hometown in Gary, Indiana, where Mama Jackson is expected to reveal a large monument of the pop icon outside of the home where the Jacksons grew up today at 2 PM. Katherine, along with other members of the Jackson family, and Gary’s Mayor Rudy Clay will unveil a special monument in Michael’s honor. At 5 PM a memorial celebration is scheduled, which will include music, food, entertainment and special guests including a speech by Judge Mathis on Michael’s life and his impact on Gary, Indiana. The celebration is set to be followed by a candlelight vigil concluding with Jackson’s hit “We Are The World.”
