Mathew Williamson joins the slew of designers who have saddled up with retail giant H&M. Though his line has debuted with mixed reviews, according to New York Magazine. So far, the Williamson line has launched in London, Paris, New York City, Tokyo, and Beijing. In most of these stores, overcrowding gave way to sell out items. Still, the scene in Tokyo was a different story: no lines, no crowds. Only time will tell if the design trend from high-end to affordable is phasing out.—LB
