“God comes first,” Erica told CentricTV.com. “Three basic ways to keep your home healthy– pray for your family, make sure there’s communication and realize they’re the reason for it all.”

Erica, who is excitedly expecting a baby girl in February, also says it’s important that her children know their mom embodies the things she sings about in her gospel records.
“If I go out and I’m singing about love to the whole world and my daughter sees me on TV and rolls her eyes because she knows I didn’t spend time with her, she wouldn’t believe me. [My kids] are my first responsibility,” said Erica.

With the holidays coming up and a baby on the way, Erica has no plans of slowing down. In fact, she’s hosting a huge feast at her house on Christmas Day for 75 family members and will also hit the road for the Mary Mary Christmas Tour.
“I always work until seven or eight months,” said Erica about her first two pregnancies. “It’s Christmas music so it’s a little more subdued and relaxed. I won’t be running and jumping all over the place. Just a little bit.”
You go girl!
