The nine-year-old granddaughter of Martin Luther King Jr. showed that great oratory skills must run in the family after she led a chant during Saturday’s March For Our Lives rally

Yolanda Renee King made an appearance in front of hundred of thousands of people to share her own dream for the nation.

“My grandfather had a dream that his four little children would not be judged by the color of their skin but the content of their character,” she said. “I have a dream that enough is enough and that this should be a gun free world. Period.”

She then asked the crowd to repeat back her words: “Spread the word, have you heard? All across the nation. We are going to be a great generation.”

She led the chant three times, encouraging the crowd to repeat her words even louder: “We are going to be a great generation.”

We doubt this is the last time we will see Yolanda taking up the charge for her generation.
