Mariah Carey Pens New Song for 'The Paperboy' Soundtrack

Last week Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary and their twins’ first birthday in Paris. This week, they’re back to taking care of their business, reports The Concrete Loop.

On Twitter, Mariah announced that she’ll be contributing work for the upcoming soundtrack for director Lee Daniels’ new movie The Paperboy, and she’s thrilled about it. She wrote: ““Lil’ excited to share with you that I wrote a song for Lee Daniels’ new movie “The Paperboy” called Mesmerized!”

The movie is about a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate. Carey and Daniels worked together previously on the movie Precious. Are you excited to hear new tunes from Carey?
