She may not have walked away with a Golden Globe award last night, but Mariah Carey has a lot to celebrate these days thanks to her turn as a tough social worker in “Precious,” a successful perfume line and her latest CD “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.”
After blaming her much buzzed about acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on the alcohol, Mariah’s taking her love for bubbly to the next level by launching her own brand to be aptly named Angel Champagne. The rose is expected to hit shelves later this year.
Announcing the big news via Twitter last week, Mariah joked, “Didn’t realize they put the champagne on the tables, So we WOULDN’T drink it! LoL,” referring back to her intoxicated speech.
