A group of Colorado kids got an early Christmas gift courtesy of Mariah Carey. The songstress spread good cheer by hiring out the Aspen Recreation Center for four hours (at $1000 an hour) to host a holiday party for 35 underprivileged kids. The four hour fete included magicians, storytellers, wall climbing and swimming. Mariah arrived with husband Nick Cannon and Santa on a sleigh pulled by reindeer.
“It was all about the kids,” a child protective services administrator told the Aspen-Times. “As soon as she got off the sleigh, they started screaming, ‘Mariah, Mariah, Mariah!’.
