
Mariah Carey took to social media Friday to announce that she would not be performing her Easter Sunday show in Brussels in light of the recent terrorist attacks.

Belgium’s capital city was hit with a series of explosions that killed at least 34 and injured many more on Tuesday, March 22nd.
“I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour. I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs,” shared Carey in two separate tweets and on Instagram.

The ESSENCE Fest headliner, who also turned 46 Sunday, has not yet announced any plans to reschedule, however the Sweet, Sweet Fantasy tour across Europe resumes in Copenhagen on Tuesday according to E!
