Charlotte is currently under a state of emergency, as declared by Governor Pat McCrory, after two consecutive nights of protests.

McCrory has called on the national guard member and state troopers to assist police, stating, “We cannot tolerate this violence.”

Charlotte is under curfew from midnight to 6:00 am until the end of the state of emergency.
