It looks like David, pop icon Madonna’s adopted son from Malawi, is getting a new little sister. Two appeals courts in Malawi will allow Madonna to adopt 4-year-old Chifundo “Mercy” James, says the singer’s lawyer, accordig to the New York Daily News. The judgment comes after Madonna was initially declined her request, but two judges have been persuaded to reverse their decision and a third jurist is said to be close joining in the reversal. The official ruling will reportedly be announced on Sunday at Malawi’s Supreme Court of Appeal. David joined Madonna’s family in 2006.—ZH
