Social media has been stirring since last night when TMZ released an alleged shocking audio conversation between the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and girlfriend V. Stiviano. Sterling was allegedly recorded  having a heated debate with Stiviano, who is of black and Mexican descent, on her “promoting” interactions with black people, specifically a posting of Magic Johnson and Stiviano on Instagram that sparked the debate.

“It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?,” Sterling allegedly asked Stiviano.”…Don’t put him [Magic Johnson] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games.”

Since the alleged racist rant was released Magic Johnson has responded: “It’s a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans,” said Johnson, ” He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring championships to Clippers fans. The Clippers have a strong minority fan base.”

No comment has been released by Sterling since the audio was aired.
