Longer Is Better: Coco and Breezy On Growing Out Their TWA

Corianna (Coco) and Brianna (Breezy) Dotson are best known for creating cutting-edge eyewear for their company Coco and Breezy, but the Minnesota-born twins are always on the scene with a unique hairstyle. Remember their blonde TWA’s, or the heart in Breezy’s hair? Well, we caught up with the duo during fashion week to get the scoop on their latest hair escapades. And, in true Coco and Breezy form, they didn’t disappoint.

“Breezy has always been good with taking care of her hair, so she always takes the lead [with hairstyles],” says Coco. The free-spirited sisters wore shaved heads for years, but now the girls are growing it out and learning new routines and techniques to manage their curls.

First on their list of establishing a hair care regimen is applying coconut oil.

RELATED: Why Coconut Oil Should Be Your Favorite Oil

“One thing we recently started doing is adding coconut oil in our hair before we shower as a replacement for shampoo.” Their love for the natural oil doesn’t stop there. Not only do the siblings swear by coconut oil for their hair, but they also love it for moisturizing their body and face. Their other must-have beauty products include their signature red lipstick (of course), coco butter (it cleared up their dark spots) and bronzer, for a little pop of sparkle.

While we’ll miss their super low cuts, we’re looking forward to seeing their longer, healthy hair. Catch them Saturday, September 12 at W New York – Downtown rocking cool glasses, and even cooler hair.
