The legendary Chuck Berry, 84, scared everyone last night when he suddenly fell ill on stage in Chicago. The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that he rested his head on his keyboard for a few moments before being escorted off stage to receive medical treatment.
“All I know is he felt faint, he felt weak, and I was told to call 911” said concert promoter Michael Petryshyn. After 20 minutes of medical assistance the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame singer signed a medical release and returned to the stage but didn’t have enough strength to continue. He kindly thanked fans and excited the venue. Sources are reporting that Berry was indeed sick before the show and was cleared by EMTs.
