LeBron James has officially been designated as “the golden child.” The 24-year old Cleveland Cavaliers’ star was awarded this season’s M.V.P. award on May 4, according to the Associated Press. The league will deliver the award to him in the same high school gym where he caught national attention. James beat out Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant and the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade for the prestigious title.-WLW
