Don’t call it a comeback just yet. Twelve years after her debut album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” the incomparable L-Boogie says she’s “getting closer” to releasing a new album, though she wouldn’t be specific. In an interview with MTV shortly after her recent performance at Rock the Bells, Hill also spoke about her excitment at the new crop of artists, without naming any names. “They’re doing it in a really kind of unusual, unique and hardcore way.” Asked if there were any artists she would consider collaborating with, HIll said, “It’s been such a long time since I’ve gotten my voice and my ideas [out]. In terms of collaborations, that’s not even something I’ve been thinking about per se.” Just last week, Hill’s producer, Dana Rivera, said her latest “leaked” song, “Repercussions” was part of “a work in progress.”
