Don’t even think about counting Larry Wilmore out of the comedy game just yet.
On Thursday, The Nightly Show will air its final segment after a year and a half run on air, following the show’s cancellation by Comedy Central earlier in the week. And along with the show goes the popular host, Wilmore.
Though, on Tuesday, when Vanity Fair asked the late night comedian how he would feel if other late shows incorporated his special “formula” into their own programs, Wilmore gave fans a glimmer of hope that he wasn’t quite finished with TV.
“No! Don’t do what I did!” he said. “A brother might be coming back, you know? You never know!”
