Daily Show correspondent Larry Wilmore will replace Stephen Colbert on Comedy Central in 2015, the network announced Friday.

The 52-year-old comedy writer and actor has made regular appearances on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and is set to host the new show, The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore.

Created by Jon Stewart, The Minority Report will feature a panel that takes a comedic approach to news, current events and pop culture. The network said the show will “provide an opportunity for the underrepresented voices out there.”

The Minority Report is set to premiere in January and will air Monday to Thursday directly after The Daily Show.

Wilmore is credited for creating The Bernie Mac Show and has written for television hits like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and The Office.
