NBA star Lamar Odom is in critical condition after being found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel, reports Deadspin.
According to brothel owner Dennis Hof, Odom checked into the brothel on Satuday to “get away, have a good time and relax.” Employees claim that the 35-year-old athlete, who has a family history of addiction, didn’t appear to be taking any drugs other than herbal Viagra.
However, when staffers went to check on him yesterday afternoon, they found him unconscious in his room with “terrible stuff” coming out of his mouth and nose. He was transported to an area hospital (EMT workers wanted to airlift him, but the 6-foot-10 basketball player was too large for the helicopter).
The hospital where he is admitted has not released a statement on his condition, but TMZ reports that he remains on a ventilator and in a coma. He is reportedly having heart, kidney and lung problems.
