Lamar Odom was arrested for Driving Under Influence early Friday morning.
The 33-year-old basketball star was pulled over for driving too slow on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles. He was doing 50 miles per hour and authorities say he was driving in a “serpentine manner.”
Odom, who initially ignored police attempts to pull him over, drove three exits before deciding to stop. According to TMZ, authorities said Odom was clearly intoxicated and that he failed several sobriety tests. He was arrested in San Fernando Valley close to 4am and taken to a jail close by.
Odom was released the same day a little after 8am on $15,000 bail.
Odom’s arrest comes amidst reports of the NBA star battling a drug addiction. He is also said to be struggling to keep his marriage in tact.
