The numbers are in! Kevin Hart is perhaps one of the most successful comedians of our time. The joke-maker earned a reported $15 M in ticket sales in two days from his 90-city “Laugh at My Pain Comedy Tour” — breaking Eddie Murphy’s record.

Without a doubt, Mr. Hart has plenty to laugh about — on his way to the bank. Just around the corner for the comedian is the release of his “Laugh at My Pain” movie, which is expected to hit theaters on September 9th, according to EURweb.

Black Enterprise caught up with Hart and discussed his success. When asked, “What’s your ultimate goal?” he replied, “I’m trying to be groundbreaking for my time. Ultimately, I’d like to be remembered as one of the funniest guys who ever did it. I want to be one of the greats.”

He’s certainly on his way to making his mark alongside Richard Pryor, Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock.
