Jerome Corsi, American author of “The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality” (a book that has widely been denounced in the U.S.), was held in Nairobi, Kenya, on Tuesday for an immigration violation as he arrived for a press conference to promote his book. Kenyan authorities said the controversial writer was missing one of his immigration forms. His book characterizes presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama as an untrustworthy radical, full of Black rage. Obama, whose father was born in Kenya, is wildly popular there and the country has embraced him as a native son. The nonpartisan political watchdog Factcheck.org has found sketchy descriptions in the book and called it “a mishmash of unsupported conjecture, half-truths, logical fallacies and outright falsehoods.”
