Keke Palmer, the teen star True Jackson VP has signed on to produce and
play the lead in Oreo, a new film about a young girl who has a
troubling past but refuses to be pushed around despite her circumstances.
The script is based on the book by the same title written by author Fran
Ross. The actress/singer and her parents have been working for over three
years to bring the movie to the big screen. Palmer is still trying to find a
studio for the film but hopes the film will go into production by Fall of
