Temporary custody was awarded to TJ, Tito's son.
Today a judge awarded temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson’s three kids to TJ, Tito Jackson’s son, stripping Katherine of custody, reports TMZ.
In his decision, Judge Beckloff made it clear that Katherine did no wrong, but she was prevented from doing her duties by “intentional acts from third parties.”
In addition, the judge suggested that TJ file a petition for permanent guardianship. Before then, he must notify Diana Ross (successor to guardianship) and Debbie Rowe (biological mother) of the changes. Beckloff also ordered the executors John Branca and John McClain to give TJ the necessary funds for security and other necessities for the kids. Also, the children must not be taken from California without a court order.
Before the court hearing wrapped up TJ told the judge he spoke with Katherine yesterday and observed strange behavior. “I’ve never heard my grandmother talk like that,” said a teary eyed TJ. “She wasn’t sharp. The pauses, choice of vocabulary… she has not used certain phrases like that before.”
The New York Daily news is reporting that Katherine is heading back to Los Angeles today. “It was under doctor’s orders that she [spent time in Arizona],” said Randy in a Good Morning America interview. “Her health was really bad, and he wanted her to go somewhere where she couldn’t be on the phone, and just off from the outside world for a few days. She’s fine. Her health is a lot better.”
As for reports about the family drama that occurred on Monday afternoon at their Calabasas home, Randy said, “… This has been sensationalized out of control. This is meant to try to take attention from the question that has not been answered [about Michael Jackson’s will]. This will is fake.”
