The music world is mourning the loss of pioneer R&B singer Kashif Saleem.
The well-respected musician was reportedly found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home on Monday and is believed to have died of natural causes, according to EURWeb reports.
Kashif’s family confirmed the news of his death with a somber tweet from his personal Twitter page early Tuesaday morning.

The 56-year-old crooner played an intrical part in furthering the careers of several iconic music greats including Whitney Houston and Stacey Lattisaw. A Harlem native who had become a skilled musician by age 12, he will be remembered fondly for the strides made in his solo career as well as for all he did to contribute to the success of others.
