From musing on fur pillows to blasting Brittney Spears, no topic is off limits in Kanye’s Twitter Feed, but this time, the rapper may have struck a touchy nerve for followers with a recent tweet on abortion. Read what he wrote here.
In a late-night tweet the rapper opined on the expensive cost of abortions and whether some pregnancies are ill-planned:
“An abortion can cost a ballin’ n— up to 50gs maybe a 100. Gold diggin’ b—-es be getting pregnant on purpose. #STRAPUP my n—-s!,” he wrote. In his Yeezy fashion, he continues with what appears to be a terse disclaimer: “It ain’t happen to me but I know people.”
The tweet sparked strong reactions from many of West’s Twitter readers, including outspoken singer Lily Allen. “[N]ever has a tweet put me in such a bad mood,” she tweeted in reference to West’s post. “This is wrong on so many levels.”
