Kanye West Debuts Fashion Line in Paris

Kanye West debuted his first women’s fashion collection, DW by Kanye West, last night in Paris, France. 

The spring 2012 womenswear line was presented in a full house that included fashion heavyweights like Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, fashion columnist Robin Givhan, and celebs Ciara and Tameka Raymond.

Kanye, who has a been a front-row fixture at Fashion Week the past few years, included a mix of sexy seperates (think body-con halters) and contemporary day-to-night dresses.  The color palette was mostly neutral with pops of red and royal blue.

“The biggest conversation I hope I can end tonight is whole ‘celebrity designer’ thing,” Kanye said after the show, reports the Huffington Post. “That’s the biggest hurdle when you want to get amazing people to work for you.”

There’s no word yet on where you’ll be able to shop for the DW line, which is named after his late mother, Donda West.
