It has been a year since rapper Kanye West lost his mother, Donda, 58, from what was believed to be complications while recovering from plastic surgery. Now he’s got to deal with even more family drama. California authorities are investigating Kanye’s cousin Stephan Scoggins, who is a registered nurse and was supervising his aunt’s post-surgery care, reports People.com.
According to her autopsy, Donde West died as the result of multiple post-op factors, including the possibility that Scoggins may have given her too many painkillers in a short period of a time.
Kanye has yet to comment on the current investigation.
